How to distinguish the quality of LED power supply
1、 PFC (power factor)
However, not necessarily high PFC is good, but also small overall oblique wave, small ripple and low interference (because some manufacturers deliberately make PFC very high but ignore the part of electromagnetic compatibility).
2、 Conversion efficiency
The level of conversion efficiency, the size and stability of deviation value. For example, in the working voltage range of AC170-250V, We can try to debug from 170v-250v. With the changing voltage from low to high, we can see whether the fluctuation of "conversion efficiency, PFC" is large on the power meter to prove its stability.
3、 Check whether the temperature rise of the power supply is high.
For example, the higher the temperature of the power supply itself, the bigger damage to the components.
4、 Periodic aging test
Keep whole lamps working for a long time, maybe one month, Test the Driver's temperature, check if the LED Chips, LED Housing and Drivers temperature is similar as original,
5、 Detect the impulse current to the lamp bead at the moment of startup.
6、 Detect the stability of constant current.
7、 Detect the protection function of the power supply: whether it has over-temperature protection, over-voltage protection, over-current protection and short-circuit protection.
8、 High voltage: whether the input to output can withstand voltage above 3000V. Whether the input can withstand voltage of 1500V to the ground.
